Forthcoming this autumn will be a CD release from Hyped to Death/Messthetics called Greatest Hiss a compilation of early noisy DIY material . This will include Car Situations (Nasal Passage) by Storm Bugs, an excerpt from the original A Safe Substitute C60 cassette. Other artists will include the likes of Colin Potter etc. No word on an exact release date though we are advised it will be out soon.
The latest issue of the very fine Sound Projector magazine is out featuring an 8 page interview with yours truly about the early days of Snatch Tapes, Storm Bugs and so on. The magazine (which is a bumper 184 pages) also includes a review of both the recent Storm Bugs LP Supplementary Benefit LP as well as the Snatch Paste LP. Transcripts of the reviews can be found here but we heartily recommend purchasing a copy of the mag as of course it contains much much more.
